Welcome to the website of Freedom Missionary Baptist Church. At Freedom, we are excited about the Lord and extremely pleased that you decided to visit us on online. Bringing souls to Christ and building ministries is our primary focus. We are a loving fellowship of believers who are rooted in the word of God and actively involved in serving the community and the greater Dallas area. Dallas is a city of churches, indeed, in some communities there is literally a church on every corner, but finding the right church-home is an important choice for every believer. Over the past 30 years, Pastor Flemmings has shown a firm commitment to the training of our youth, and the Christian education of our congregation as a whole. Through various series of schematized lessons and rigorous programs of preaching and teaching, the members of Freedom have been set on a path of essential knowledge and spiritual growth.

Church PurposeTo glorify God by living out the Great Commandments, and working out the Great Commission and to bring believers to a Great Commitment, to present the coming Christ a Great Church!

Our Theme for 2009, is

"Greater Works We Shall Do"

John 14:12

'Do A Bit Of Stretching"

The approval and administration of those we serve and minister can be very humbling.  Those we lead believe we lead better that we believe.  They even believe we pray more than we do.  They sometimes assume we study more than we really do.

Man, imagine we are better leaders than we know ourselves to be.  A woman in church said to her leader, "We pray that you are as good as we "think" you are.  Many times our stretching comes from those we lead that admire us with their affirmation.

But why not become what they believe we are through God's enablement.  Some of the greatest leaders are loved into being great.  What a possiblity these affirmations provide for growing leadership and ministry.

The stretching will do you good.  Allow those you lead to stretch you into greatness.

-Pastor Mack T. Flemmings
